Hello, my name is Julienne Tibbet and you are reading my uncensored review in which I will try to answer the question: RegCure does it work and is it safe?

Why am I writing this? Well, when I was thinking about trying RegCure, there weren’t many real uncensored reviews around so I thought I’d write one to help any of you who are in the same position I was.

RegCure by ParetoLogic (Official site | Download | Video presentation) is among the famous Registry Cleaner programs and I found it to be of professional grade. There are several registry cleaner tools; however, choosing the best one needs some study of the many reviews out there.

Download and Installation

The Windows Registry is a very important part of your computer’s operating system and when it comes to registry cleaner software, you must be very careful. My initial step to review RegCure was downloading the software. The software is not a big file. The download took me a few moments and the program was installed conveniently.

I found the interface very user-friendly. It is clean and you have the option of navigating it easily. The interface comes with big buttons and an easy to read information. Although I do not have a good command over computers, still I was able to move smoothly through the entire registry cleaning process.

Does RegCure Work?

The software runs a scan for errors and after finding the errors, cleans them up. At the next step, I ran the “Manage Startup” utility for disabling certain applications from loading when Windows is booted. Manage Startup made all this very convenient and smooth.

My RegCure review test was fabulous and the total boot time of my laptop was reduced from 4 minutes 42 seconds to 2 minutes and 44 seconds. This was simply amazing. It was great to find that the entire speed of my computer was enhanced and there were no crashes and errors that I faced.

Click here if you want to download a Free Scan of RegCure

RegCure is compatible with Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, Vista (32bit) and Windows 7 (32 & 64 Bit).

Is Regcure Safe?

Every time you use RegCure to clean your registry a backup file is automatically created. RegCure saves these backups so that deleted items can be restored. With this option, a group of registry entries can be reinstated rather than having to restore the whole registry or an out-dated set of files. There is also an option to restore one or more backup files at a time.

RegCure was tested by Softpedia, an independent reviewer, and found to be 100% clean. It can be installed by any user with no concern; “…it does not contain any form of malware, including but not limited to: spyware, viruses, Trojans, and backdoors.”

Features

RegCure has many features like:

Custom Scans

Automatic Repair

Automatic Scheduling Tool

Startup Programs Manager

Backup And Restore Features

Ignore List

If you are an advanced user, then you can benefit of the highly customized program. You can selectively scan your system. It will also be possible for you to scan for uninstall entries and program shortcuts. I consider the backup and restore function in RegCure to be wonderful features, as it allowed me to make my last set of changes, in case I had unknowingly removed something important.

Conclusion

While removing items from the registry is a delicate matter, having the right tool in hand makes the task a safe and efficient process. The creators of RegCure have designed a registry cleaning tool with safety in mind. By maintaining a clean registry free of junk items and malicious entries, a computer system is both stable and free of any performance constraints caused by these items remaining in the registry.

So, my answer to the question “RegCure does it work and is it safe?” is: Yes it does and it is safe.

Is your PC running slow or generating Windows errors? Before you buy a new computer, you can improve your PC’s performance by working with the Windows registry and removing the rubbish.

Windows Registry

The problem with a slow performing computer is that the Windows registry is no longer performing as designed. The Windows registry tends to collect clutter once you’ve had your computer for a while. During the installation and removal of software and hardware, remnants often stay behind causing Windows to work harder following out of date commands. The cluttered registry will slow down your PC performance, and maybe even cause PC freezes and system crashes.

Cleaning the Windows Registry

Cleaning Windows is possible, however changing the Windows registry manually is a daunting task. Registry editing takes a lot of time and is risky. Permanent damage can be done by simply mis-typing an entry. Moreover, thousands of combinations of file paths, disabled drivers, file associations, registry values, and other settings are working against you. It’s not possible for a person to successfully remove and clean them.

But cleaning the Windows registry can be easy if you have the right tools. Software has been developed to clean, repair and optimize the Windows registry without any risk. RegCure is such a product. A slow PC performance and Windows errors are no longer a problem once you’ve installed RegCure.

Most computer errors are usually caused by corrupt or missing Windows Registry data after removing or installing programs.

The Windows Registry is the engine of the Windows operating system. Without it, Windows would not be able to run.

Whenever you change settings, system policies, file associations, or installed software, the changes are stored in the Windows Registry. It holds information and settings for all users and preferences, software and hardware of your PC.

When you install and uninstall software the Windows Registry gets overloaded with “junk” information, which can cause errors and slow down your PC performance.

Most people never clean their Windows Registry…that is why 93% of all computers have these problems.

The best thing you can do, to stop your computer from getting more error messages or further registry corruption, is to repair and clean your Windows Registry.

RegCure – Windows Registry Cleaner

I recommend to run a Free Registry Scan from the multi-award winning registry repair tool, RegCure. RegCure cleans, repairs and optimizes the Windows Registry in just 2 minutes. And because it is an user-friendly tool, you don’t have to be a PC geek.

One of RegCure’s features is the possibility to disable startup programs, which drastically speeds up computer start-up time.

So, if you want to get rid of Windows errors and increase the speed of your PC, I recommend to use RegCure.

You may be surprised what you find as it is not uncommon for hundreds even thousands of errors to be uncovered.

Over 92% of computers are infected with Adware and spyware. Such software is rarely accompanied by uninstall utility and even when it is it almost always leaves broken Windows Registry keys behind it. Even if you have an anti-spyware tool your Windows Registry might be broken – developers of those tools are focused on removing Adware and spyware functionality, not every trace of software itself.

Another category of software that is known to leave bits and pieces behind on uninstallation is games. There are a lot of special installation systems that creates strange files, unique entries in your registry file as well as changes system dll’s to other versions. Once you uninstall the game a lot of the special installation changes it made will be left behind, causing you problems.

Cleaning your Registry

You should run an advanced registry cleaner for Windows, such as RegCure, that allows you to safely scan, clean, and repair registry problems with a few simple mouse clicks on a regular basis.

Problems with the Windows Registry are a common cause of Windows crashes (blue screens) and error messages (memory as well as disk errors). By using a PC tune-up utility, your system will be more stable, your software will run quicker, and your operating system will boot faster.

Registry problems can occur for many reasons, including references left behind after uninstallation; incorrect removal of software; missing or corrupt hardware drivers; or orphaned start-up programs. With a few easy steps, a good registry cleaner will scan your entire registry for any invalid entries and provide a list of the errors found.

You then can choose to clean each item or automatically repair them all after making a backup without the need for a registry editor such as Regedit.

Registry Cleaner Checklist

To help people choose a product I have created this short checklist.

A good windows registry clean and repair product should have the following options.

Automatic Scan
To facilitate your windows registry scan. This is the simplest way to clean up the registry. Automatic Scan is recommended for ‘non-technical’ users.

Custom Scans
You customize your search and scan Windows registry for particular types of errors (shared DLLs, missing fonts, invalid start-up entries, etc.).

Manual Cleanup
After the scan is complete, the program should show you a full list of errors with details, broken down by types and let you fix individual invalid entries or all invalid entries of a certain type.

Backup and Undo
Before removing an entry from your registry, should an automatic creation of a backup file be done, that can be used to undo the changes. This to avoid changes without backup.

Scheduler
To schedule the program to scan the registry whenever you start your computer.

Using software like RegCure is not a one time fix. You must run it on a regular basis to keep your registry clean and without errors. This will help the stability and speed of windows.

The most important reason your should fix Windows Registry errors as they occur is that this the one single preventative measure can greatly increase the life-expectancy of your Windows system by stabilizing the growth of its Registry.

Prevention is Key!

It is a fact of Windows that trying to fix Registry problems after they occur is much more difficult than preventing their occurrence in the first place. So when it comes to the Windows Registry, the motto should always be “prevention is key!” This is because it is often the most common and abundant types of errors that wind up killing Registries, especially those caused by a system’s registered applications, users, and even Windows itself. As new applications are installed and old applications are removed, and as registered applications continue accessing and changing Registry data, they often leave small bits of themselves behind as orphaned registry entries.

By themselves, these errors will probably not reveal themselves in any degradation of speed or normal Windows functions, especially if your system is new. But if these errors are allowed to accumulate for a very long time, they can greatly increase a Registry’s size and wreak havoc on the overall structure and stability of its database. And for a fast-growing Registry, even small error accumulations can quickly send your Registry’s database structure out of control. If you don’t fix these Windows Registry errors often, your system can very easily fall victim to sudden crashes, system stalls, or a severe decrease in operating speed. It is particularly at risk if you frequently install or uninstall applications and hardware, since these actions increase the Registry’s rate of growth further by adding more registered components, orphaned Registry entries, and undeleted drivers to your system.

Registry Repair Utilities

Once you have made the decision to fix Windows Registry errors on your system, you will need to know something about how to go about it. Although some versions of Windows provide built-in background system utilities designed to maintain Registry structure and stability, these utilities only address the most basic Registry problems in the most primitive ways, making them insufficient when a Registry becomes very large and complicated. However, there are many third-party Windows Registry repair utilities, such as RegCure, that are inexpensive and easy to use. For general maintenance and prevention purposes, Combination Repair/Cleaning utilities are perfect. They are effective in finding and removing errors caused by invalid references, viruses, and spyware/tracking programs, and usually have other features, like Registry defragmenting and backup/restore utilities and scanning schedules, that make it very easy to maintain your computer’s health and optimize its performance.

Registry Repair and Maintenance is an often overlooked and under utilized computer repair option. This article will tell you why it is of great importance.

Even the most cautious and attentive computer users are subjected to strange errors and other annoyances. These errors will almost inevitably rear their ugly heads after some serious computer usage. You may be asking yourself “What causes these problems, and can I prevent them?” Well the answer, in short, is yes you can.

These errors do not show up by accident..

The age old quote I hear my clients say to me is “My computer used to be so fast! What happened?!” My answer to this is ALWAYS the same: I tell them that this slow down is inevitable unless proper precautions are taken. What if you were to skip changing your oil for say…20,000 miles? What do you think might happen to your poor car? That’s right, you guessed it, it would more than likely cease to work! It would slow down over time and eventually… poof it goes up in smoke (hopefully not literally).

Registry errors are almost always to blame. These errors are sneaky and will often accumulate over time. What is the registry you ask?

The Windows registry is a directory which stores settings and options for the operating system for Microsoft Windows 32-bit versions, 64-bit versions and Windows Mobile. It contains information and settings for all the hardware, operating system software, most non-operating system software, users, preferences of the PC, etc.

Whenever a user makes changes to Control Panel settings, file associations, system policies, or most installed software, the changes are reflected and stored in the registry. The registry also provides a window into the operation of the kernel, exposing runtime information such as performance counters and currently active hardware.

These changes often leave behind traces of what “used to be”. Old references, obsolete entries, and invalid startup entries are just a few of the problems that can arise on your machine.

Why should I perform a comprehensive registry scan?

A quality comprehensive registry repair program will make cleaning the registry as easy as one, two, three. It will literally hunt down and repair problematic registry entries. Before it does this however it will completely backup and archive your original registry settings to insure that you have a “working” backup to work from.

Not only will it repair the problems, it will maintain the health of your registry. Quality registry repair programs will often compact and defragment your registry. It will re-organize and shrink your registry. What will this do you ask? This will allow your machine to operate at its optimal speed all the time. That’s right, hands free maintenance of your machine.

You may have purchased a state-of-the-art computer, yet it is running so slowly that you have to pick up something to read while you wait for it to connect to the internet. You might need spyware removal for your PC, which is probably being tampered with by an outside source. Other problems, such as frequent error messages and security threats are caused by spyware, and spyware removal is essential to prevent the following:

• data mining
• aggressive advertising
• Trojan horses
• Browser hijackers
• Tracking components
• mouse monitors

and similar intrusions. As more unscrupulous web savvy hackers are creating new ways to get access to your valuable personal information, Spyware removal is fast becoming an essential program for every PC.

When you search the web, you not only find information, but you also leave a lot of data behind. Your computer can leave “footprints” of information as you surf, and can bring spyware back with it, like tracking sand into a home. Spyware removal can detect these parasitic devices placed on your PC that monitors your browsing habits so you can later get spammed by aggressive advertisers. Spyware also retrives sensitive information, such as your credit card number. Increasing security problems, theft and fraud are causing companies to do more research and to update their spyware removal capabilities.

When choosing a spyware removal program, it is highly suggested to opt for a brand that is well known and has been on the market for some time. Some supposed spyware removal programs have proven to be false, and like the spyware they are supposed to be removing, they scan your disks in order to find sensitive information that can be used or sold. It is for this reason that some suggest using spyware removal that does not scan your disks. Other experts might object that a spyware removal program that does not scan your disk can not be guaranteed to remove all of your spyware, whereas others tout certain programs that are able to give maximum protection without scanning your computer disks.

In addition to scanning your disks, many spyware removal programs also search your removable drives and your memory for traces of malware and spyware. Spyware removal works using Code Sequence Identification (CSI) technology and has an extensive spyware removal support system. Once your PC has been scanned, your spyware removal program logs the results of the scan showing which places contain spyware or other problems. It also removes any behavior tracking devices and prevents others from stealing your bandwith. Most spyware removal programs can also prevent keyloggers which take password and credit card information.

In addition to installing spyware removal on your regular PC, you can also find spyware removal programs suited for the corporate environment. These programs work with multiple computers in a network, and work much like spyware removal for a PC, but on a larger scale. For most businesses, it is worthwhile to invest in the best spyware removal you can obtain, since, for commercial reasons, you are likely to be dealing with sensitive information for all of your customers. Don’t let spyware point the finger at your company when your customer’s credit card number is stolen.

Many spyware removal programs can be obtained as free downloads for a limited period of time. These programs will do an initial scan at no cost and will continue to protect your PC if you purchase the spyware removal program. You can purchase sypware removal that can build an instant defense if there is some material that it cannot yet recognize. It is also a good idea to get spyware removal that does not eliminate anything without asking your permission first. For extra security, some spyware removal programs do not access any of your private information on your hard drive and do not connect to the net. If you trust your spyware company, you need not be afraid of a scan, but ensure that the company is a legitimate one before purchasing their spyware.
